Introduction to Dragon Bridge Da Nang

The Dragon Bridge is a modern symbol of Da Nang, attracting thousands of tourists each year. Construction began in 2009 and the bridge was officially opened in 2013.

Dragon Bridge Architecture

With an investment of over 1,500 billion VND, the bridge was designed by Louis Berger Group, Inc. (USA)—the winning firm in a design competition organized by Da Nang’s People’s Committee.

  • The structure is shaped like a giant dragon flying toward the East Sea, illuminated by a vibrant lighting system of 2,500 multi-colored LED lights.

The Dragon Bridge fire and water performance is held every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

  • Fire show: 2 rounds, totaling 18 fire bursts

  • Water show: 3 rounds

During the show, traffic on the bridge is temporarily suspended. You can watch from the bridge itself—but make sure to stand at a safe distance to avoid getting soaked during the water spray!
